Primary Purpose opened on November 16th, 2016, providing level 2 & level 3 supportive recovery housing.  Since opening we have helped 3,500+ residents!  Today, we have 88 beds for men & women in Lorain County suffering from addiction and looking for an opportunity to build a foundation for recovery.  In 2023, 369 residents entered our level 3 program, 70% successfully completed the program, 49% transitioned to level 2, the average length of stay was 4.6 months, and less than 1% relapsed.  Our full time cook prepares 120+ meals a day for the men & women in our program & thanks to organizations like Second Harvest we can provide our level 3 program at no cost.  We're the only recovery housing organization accredited by ORH & CARF in the state holding us to the highest standards for a safe & structured resident experience.
